The rapid growth of data generated by both machines and humans presents new challenges as well as significant opportunities for engineers. Analyzing big data enables engineers to uncover key insights, which in turn helps them make informed, data-driven decisions. UConn offers a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Data Science, a 30-credit online graduate degree program focusing on data science methods explicitly tailored to the engineering field.

Unlike many data science programs that cater to a general audience, this program focuses on data analytics from an engineering perspective, providing the skills necessary to analyze data specific to engineering effectively
In addition to professional development skills, you will gain knowledge and skills in:

- Business communication upskilling to develop, analyze, and effectively present data in multiple formats.
