Taking Individual Graduate
Engineering Courses
Non-Degree / Visiting Student Option
Students with a bachelor’s degree or higher can take UConn’s online graduate-level Engineering courses as “non-degree” students. The “non-degree” designation allows students to take courses for credit without being formally admitted to the University. Participating as a non-degree graduate student allows you to take up to four courses while you prepare for admission to a Master of Engineering program. If you decide to matriculate into the M.Eng. degree program in the future, these non-degree course credits are transferrable provided they meet the criteria determined by the Graduate School.
